Generating a request code is only one part of the process for Manually Activating Your Autodesk Software. Note: A valid serial number and product key are required in order to generate a request code. You do not need a Request Code for activating and registering your Autodesk software online. Generating a Request Code with the Product Activation Wizard You will only see the screens for generating a request code in the product activation wizard if your computer is not connected to the Internet. If your computer has an active Internet connection, the software will assume you want to activate online and it will not display the screens for a Request Code. To generate a request code for manual activation: Disable your Internet connection and launch your software. This is an offline process.
